One of my favourite things to do on a Sunday morning in London is walk to the Columbia Road Flower Markets. I love to see what the stalls have to offer and purchase a bunch or two of flowers, sometimes even three… to take home and spread around my house. After flower shopping, because I am an Australian and we live and breathe for brunch I grab a friend and off we head for my favourite meal of the week.
On Sunday in keeping with tradition I headed off to the market. There were some excellent flowers on offer. A few stalls had peonies which were a bargain; 2 bunches for £10.Columbia Road Flower Market had hydrangeas in an array of colours, and best of all sunflowers.I couldn’t resist and so I picked a bunch (maybe two) put them in my market bag and headed home the flowers and bag matched my unique Jord Frankie wood watch.
Since my sandals had flowers on them and my new Jord Champagne and Zebra wood watch fitted in perfectly with the flowers and my sandals I couldn’t resist taking a photo of them all together. Especially since Jord is giving away a $100 gift voucher to one of my readers to help you purchase your favourite men’s or women’s watch. Click here to enter the giveaway and even if you don’t win you will be provided with a discount code for a $25 voucher so you can still get the watch you love. After the market I dropped the flowers at home. and headed out for the most amazing brunch at an Australian classic; Granger and Co.
